MARIA DENHOLME – STAGE MANAGER
Once Maria naively told an artistic director “if you ever need a hand call me”. Several jobs later, she is Pacific Theatre’s resident kitchen wench, and occasional props mistress/stage manager/stage mother. From there she met many great people and launched into things like: The Rocky Horror Show (DSRP/Blue House), Brilliant Traces (Moonlight Monkey), Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Hoarse Raven), Mental! The Musical (Midas and Lilybee), American Pilot (Mentors Project);and Storytelling Our Lives (Puente Theatre). Theatre being more a life than a living…Maria supports her theater habit with a job as a social worker in an addictions treatment program.

Driven by a desire to create exciting, relevant, and energetic new theatre, Daniel co- founded Upintheair with Dave Mott in 1999. A core member of the Chaos Collective in the 90’s his creative efforts gave rise to the Metanoia Projects while completing his BFA at the University of Victoria. Founding Upintheair in 1999 with Daniel Martin led to the company’s first developmental piece Pyropornomania for the Vancouver Fringe. Always focusing on developing, creating and challenging his own concepts of theatre making, David has now begun to widen his skills as a producer, playwright and director.
